About the Company

Duren Controls, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Tom Duren and Mona Duren building controls for Portable Asphalt Plants and various Aircraft Production Line Test Equipment. We then moved into building portable Handling Equipment for Chem-Nuclear Systems (Tom's previous employer) and Control Systems for several other small companies in Material Handling, Machinery, Food & Beverage Plants, Sawmills, and Electronic Assembly Lines.

We have moved several times in the past 26+ years and now have an 8,500 square foot Engineering and Manufacturing Facility with an experienced staff to support our customers.

We have built controls using Circuit Boards, Relays, PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers), Computers, VFD's (Variable Frequency Drives), Radio Controls, Radio Modems, and other types of controls. Systems are supplied in various Nema Configurations (ie. Nema 1, 12, 3R, 4, 4X, 7, & 9). We configure the equipment using standard Control Panels, Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, and even custom enclosures.
